Counseling

Including - Short term generalist counseling for issues such as:
Self Esteem
Domestic Violence (includes verbal, financial, emotional, etc)
Stress and Anxiety
Relationships
Surviving past abuse

Groups

On topics such as:
Managing Anxiety / Stress Management
Better Health Self Management
Yoga
Self Esteem and Assertiveness
Multicultural Conversation Group

Childcare

We are pleased to announce that we now offer limited Childcare for children up to the age of 5.

Childcare will be available on a Monday morning subject to demand, for women attending courses / activities at this time and who remain on the premises to attend services / activities / groups.

Childcare is not available any other time and we ask that you make other arrangements for child care, before booking for other courses / activities outside this time.

Our Childcare is staffed by qualified and experienced childcare workers who offer a relaxed, nurturing and safe environment. We offer a range of art and craft, indoor and outdoor play.

Please bring food, drink and nappies if required for the duration of your child's stay.

Alternative Therapy

Our qualified massage therapist is normally at the Northern Women's Health Centre on Thursdays.  She has a diploma in health science covering the subjects of Swedish Massage, Remedial Massage and Sports Massage.

A low cost fee of $40 is charged per session. Sessions are of a 45 to 50 minute duration. (please check with your health fund to see if you are eligible for a rebate).

Please Note:  Bookings for all groups and counseling are essential. Phone each therapist directly.
