Free Courses and Workshops for Parents in 2261 Postcode Area
Central Coast Community Women’s Health Centre offers a range of free courses and workshops for expectant and other parents and carers living in 2261 postcode. These activities will develop parenting skills and provide information about local services and resources.

The program changes each term and activities include:
- One off workshops that look at parenting issues such as Understanding your child’s behaviour.
- Four to six week courses for new or expectant mums on self care, pregnancy stretch and relax, baby massage.
- We also run dads groups.
- Interactive workshops for adults with children. "Singing, Percussion and Dance" and "Hop and Move" involve parents and children to learn new skills and how to play together.
All activities are FREE & limited child care is provided – so bookings are essential.

Information Hub
At Bay Village Shopping Centre, Bateau BayLocated outside Aldi, near the children’s playground

Play Cafe
- The Play Cafe is a place for parents and children to meet, to enjoy low cost snacks that also has healthy, child friendly food available.
- It has toys and books and is close to the playground in the lovely community centre on Oakland Avenue.
- The Play Café is hosted by workers from Central Coast Community Women’s Health Centre and the Benevolent Society who can provide information about services and resources in the Wyong Shire.
- The Entrance Community Café provides its usual range of refreshments and free fruit is offered to all children and parents.

Southern Lakes Baby Expo 2012
- The Southern Lakes Baby Expo is for expectant and new parents in the Southern Lakes area of the Central Coast (2261 postcode).
- It is usually held at the Entrance Community Centre in spring.
- Stalls and workshops at the Expo provide information to help make community connections and to link new families with services and activities that will support them in their new roles.
- Representatives of local services and businesses are available to give expert advice and essential pre-natal, post-natal and early childhood parenting information and tips and to display products related to pregnancy, babies, and children.
